Transform the way you live, love, and lead!

"The servant-leader is servant first. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead."
– Robert K. Greenleaf

Overview
Leading by serving first—a simple yet profound philosophy that:
  • Is guided by a clear set of principles that are values and relational based;
  • Most people are naturally inclined to embrace; and
  • Is built upon proven leadership core competencies and best practices.

The Servant Leader Training Academy is a one-day, skills-oriented training and development program focused on the acquisition and execution of the most critical competencies of leading by serving first:  advanced empathy, persuasion, foresight, humility, collaboration, and the ethical use of power, among other skills. The curriculum integrates Robert Greenleaf’s core ideas about Servant Leadership, with the latest and best thinking of top researchers, thought-leaders, and accomplished leadership practitioners.

The Servant Leader Training Academy offers an assortment of didactic and experiential learning techniques (e.g., lectures, group process, case studies, simulations, readings, and reflection) to help leaders gain mastery in the application of the concept of Servant Leadership – at work, at home, and in the community.

Outcomes
  1. Articulate the concepts of Servant Leadership as well as its positive effects in the workplace and the greater community.
  2. Identify one’s own strengths and development needs associated with leading by serving first.
  3. Integrate the principles and practices of Servant Leadership into the rhythms and routines of daily organizational life.
  4. Describe how to create and sustain a collaborative, high-performing servant-led organization.

"The Servant Leader Training Academy provides a tremendous opportunity for developing new behaviors. As an educator, I found the skill-based curriculum to be supported by a wealth of research, superbly presented, and relevant."
